From this bright and airy room you can see the dovecote and the orchard recently planted to produce the chateau’s own cider. An 18th century water colour hangs by the bed. The atmosphere is both rustic and romantic with the curtains and bedspread livened up by floral motifs. Through the calm of the countryside you can sometimes only hear the sound of the horses in the fields.

This small but perfectly formed room provides a cosy escape for sleep or relaxation. Finished in delicate yellows with watercolours representing seaside holidays, the rooms look out over the well and the old cider press where white pigeons sit cooing on the slate roof.
